inscribed "L.C.T."

A Solid Oak Desk Chair, circa 1900, American Built,
one of the first made swivel and hinged desk chairs. This oak
desk chair was once owned by Louis Comfort Tiffany and was
used by his accountant in his store. The chair was purchased
directly from the accountant and was the only item that he took
with him upon retirement after over 40 years of working there.
He sat on it so much he said that it had become a part of him.
It has perfect even wear and is in excellent condition.
